Health is Wealth. I am not selling any products or promoting any services, just the hope and dream that you find the happiness that comes from being healthy.

Author's Path

In 2001, I joined the Air National Guard to pay for my college, like many others. I was fortunate to enter a career in the field of Information Technology that aligned with my childhood hobbies. After Basic Military Training (BMT) at Lackland Air Force Base (AFB), we proceeded to Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi, for our technical school. We arrived the week of 9/11, and my hobby immediately became my duty and purpose in life. During my time with the USAF, I have been required to take an annual Physical Training (PT) test while spending most of my time sitting in front of a computer. Through trial and error, I experienced multiple variables contributing to my PT performance. During the pursuit to stay “fit to fight,” I gained an appreciation for health as a vehicle for improved energy, focus, and stress management. My nerdy personality and technical occupation turned health into the algorithm that shaped my awareness of holistic wellness.

Currently, I am a Cyber Operations Officer and Squadron Commander in the military, as well as President and Chief Information Security Officer of Pearl Technology in my civilian career. I love spending time with my family, geeking out, playing golf, and—when time permits—playing a video game (or three).
